    Amazon. All our products are sold on Amazon.
  • Can I put your products in the freezer/microwave/oven?

    Our products are Freezer and Microwave safe, but not Oven.
  • Can Corn based products handle liquids and grease?

    Yes
  • Can I eat your PLA products or feed them to my animals?

    No. They are FDA approved for food contact, but are not considered edible/digestible. Even though all of our products are derived from corn, they are plastic and should not be eaten.
  • Does CornDrops offer a warranty for its products?

    Yes. CornDrops warrants the products supplied to be free from manufacturing defects. Often use dishwasher may shorten the lifetime.

Composting

  • How long does it take your compostable products to breakdown?

    • 1. Composting degradation: Under composting degradation condition, PLA products could be 100% biodegradable within 180 days, and the final products of degradation were carbon dioxide and water. Composting condition is as follows:- Temperature 58+/-2 degree Celsius- Humidity 98% 3)With the action of micro-organism/p>

    • 2. Landfill degradation: Landfill conditions are different from composting conditions, so the degradation rate of PLA products is relatively slow, which generally takes 2-5 years. However, the degradation products do not pollute groundwater, damage plant growth, or waste cultivated land.

    • 3. Incineration: The combustion value of PLA products is small, and the complete combustion products are carbon dioxide and water, which do not pollute the air.

  • Can I put your compostable products into my backyard compost?

    We recommend disposing of PLA products in a commercial compost facility where they can be broken down, turned into compost and then returned to the soil.

Recycling

  • Are your products recyclable?

    They can be disposed of in a commercial compost facility instead of the landfill. Here they are returned to the soil as compost.

PLA

  • Is PLA or corn plastic edible?

    PLA is FDA approved for food contact and well-suited for a variety of packaging applications, but it is not recommended for human or animal consumption.
  • What if I am allergic to corn?

    While PLA is a corn-derived plastic, the extreme heat used in processing transforms it considerably and destroys any immunological reactive profilin. So, PLA should not cause an allergic reaction.
